Alastair Kerr Website

Welcome to my website

We had hoped to have some gigs in July, but with no live music for now, many musicians really need the support of platforms like Bandcamp that properly compensate the music makers.  Bandcamp are continuing to waive their revenue share on the first Friday of each month, which means more money from album sales goes straight to the artists.  But there are other platforms, and frequently the best way to support the artist is to buy directly from them.  And don't forget that little things like subscribing to youtube channels, or following facebook pages can really help too.

Sign up to my enews now to receive my new offering - Seven for Saturday - a short, sharp taste of musical things that have come across my desk each week, including my new weekly blog on a range of topics centred around music.  See my dilletante-ism in full flight!  We'll also be launching our new podcast soon.  I say "stay tuned," but that's not how podcast technology works.Al

On the concert front, Panorama Brasil do have plans for whenever it is that we're allowed back on the stage post corona virus, and in 2021 we will also be bringing you a brand new collective of Australian and Brazilian jazz musicians!  Like us on facebook or follow us on twitter to stay up to date.  We're also releasing more video and recordings from the back catalogue, so make sure you subscribe on youtube.

For details on all of these events, check my GIG listings.  You can also find information about all of these groups, including mp3s and videos on this site.  And you can visit us on facebook, see the latest videos on the new Panorama Brasil youtube channel, check out my instagram or catch Panorama Brasil on twitter (panorama_brasil).
